The start to the 2020 season has been wildly disappointing for the Minnesota Vikings, who currently sit last in the NFC North with a 1-4 record. The organization will need to begin looking forward, with nothing left to play for right now. There may be some difficult decisions made, given the Vikings have zero cap room ($-281,632).

With that in mind, these are three players the Vikings could look to trade before the deadline.

Anthony Harris is one of the best safeties in the league. In fact, he was the third-best graded safety in 2019, according to Pro Football Focus. However, his contract is up at the end of the season and the Vikings could have a tough time re-signing him. With nothing to play for, it could be wise to get something in exchange for him while they still can.

2. Harrison Smith, S

Harrison Smith has been one of the best safeties in the NFL for a while. He was the fourth-best graded safety last season, per PFF. Despite the Vikings' defensive struggles, he is still graded 11th at his position. There are multiple teams around the league in need of a safety upgrade, and the Vikings may want to start their rebuild with a bit more cap space.

3. Tajae Sharpe, WR

The Vikings signed Tajae Sharpe in free agency this offseason, and he has yet to record a catch. He is a cheap wide receiver option that some contenders could be interested in, considering the upside he had flashed, at times, with the Tennessee Titans. He caught 92 passes for 1,167 yards in three seasons with the Titans. If the Vikings don't want to use him, they may as well try to get a seventh-round draft pick.
