3 Two-Start MLB Probable Pitchers to Pick Up Off Waivers for Fantasy Baseball Week 15

With MLB All-Star festivities now in the rearview mirror, it's time to turn our attention back to the 2019 fantasy baseball season. After a few days off, fantasy baseball owners will take part in an extended Week 15, which, in most formats, runs from Thursday, July 11 to Sunday, July 21.
If your pitching staff isn't lined up with multiple starts coming out of the All-Star break, there are a few two-start pitchers that should be quality streaming options for Week 15. Here are three starting pitchers worth a waiver wire add in Week 15.
1. Homer Bailey, Kansas City Royals
Homer Bailey posted a 3-0 record with a 2.48 ERA over his last five starts heading into the All-Star break, and he's in a good position to remain dominant once the regular season resumes later this week. The 33-year-old righty will make starts an anemic Detroit Tigers club that sports a collective .675 OPS (No. 29 in MLB) on Sunday, July 14, and is also lined up for a second start against the Cleveland Indians. Bailey, who is available in 91 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues, has dominated the Tribe in two starts this year, compiling a 1-0 record and 1.50 ERA with nine strikeouts in 12 innings pitched.
2. Jason Vargas, New York Mets
It's hard to believe that Jason Vargas continues to be fantasy relevant, but his scheduled starts make him one of the best streaming options of Week 15. The veteran lefty will face a Miami Marlins ball club that ranks dead last in MLB with a .655 OPS on Friday, July 12, and is expected to make his second start against the San Francisco Giants on Thursday, July 18. The Giants own a collective .230 batting average this season (No. 30 in MLB) and with Vargas currently available in 90 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues, he's well worth a pickup for pitcher-needy teams.
3. Jordan Zimmermann, Detroit Tigers
Jordan Zimmermann hasn't been very good this season, but his upcoming starts could make him fantasy relevant in Week 15. The 33-year-old righty is the probable starter against a Kansas City Royals squad that owns a collective .707 OPS (No. 26 in MLB) on Sunday, July 14, and another start against the Toronto Blue Jays, who hav a miserable .232 team batting average this season (No. 29 in MLB) on Friday, July 17. Zimmermann is owned in just 3 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues, so any team looking for a readily available pitching option should consider snagging the right-hander off the waiver wire in Week 15.
