After being one of the hottest teams down the stretch of last season, the Tennessee Titans will look to start with that same heat, as the play the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football. The odds have the Titans as slight underdogs on the road.

With such a narrow spread, it wouldn't be shocking to see the game go either way. However, we could still see some surprises. With that in mind, here are three bold predictions for the Titans against the Broncos.

3. Jadeveon Clowney Plays Less Than 25 Percent of Defensive Snaps

The Titans won the Jadeveon Clowney sweepstakes, with him signing recently. As a player who already needs a maintenance day every week of practice, there isn’t a ton of confidence that Clowney kept himself fully in game shape when he was a free agent. On top of that, he will have to deal with the altitude in Denver and with learning a new defense. Look for him to be gassed early on.

2. Titans Hold Broncos Rookies to Under 100 Combined Yards

There is a lot of excitement surrounding this young Broncos offense, with them drafting Jerry Jeudy, K.J. Hamler and Albert Okwuegbunam, but they are still rookies, at the end of the day. In this current era of the NFL where we had abbreviated offseason work, look for many rookies to start the year slow. Playing against an experienced defensive unit like Tennessee, who gets the benefit of running things back in the same system, Denver's youngsters could struggle on Monday night.

1. Derrick Henry Runs For Fewer Than 65 Yards

The Broncos run defense is no pushover. They allowed 4.2 yards per rush last season, which was tied for the 13th-fewest in the league. Head coach Vic Fangio is a terrific defensive mind that has had plenty of time to prepare a game plan for the Titans. Even the most naive fan is aware that you need to stop Derrick Henry if you want to beat Tennessee, so that is what the Broncos should seek to do. Henry has not run for fewer than 65 yards since Week 9 last season, but the tough Broncos defense could make it happen.
