3 Teams That Should Sign Mitchell Trubisky as Their Backup Quarterback

The quarterback issues have not gotten any clearer with the Chicago Bears, with both Nick Foles and Mitchell Trubisky failing to prove they are the answer. With this, the Trubisky era in Chicago has seemingly come to an end and has been nothing short of a failure, given the other options they had available to them in the draft.
While Trubisky has not proven he deserves a starting job, that does not mean his NFL career is over. These are three teams that should sign Trubisky as their backup quarterback.
1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
In a similar situation to Jameis Winston last season. Trubisky is a former high draft pick that needs to change many things in order to get another starting job. With Tom Brady expressing interest in playing next season, Trubisky could come in and learn from the best. If there is any potential left to tap into, this could be the situation to unlock it.
2. Las Vegas Raiders
Jon Gruden loved Trubisky coming out of college. There are clear questions about who should be the starter with the Las Vegas Raiders, and they reportedly are in the market for Deshaun Watson. Whether it's Watson, Derek Carr or someone else taking starting snaps, Gruden would love to have a player like Trubisky, who he feels has the potential to be great.
3. Buffalo Bills
Trubisky now is the player Josh Allen was a couple years ago. If he can get the same level of training that Allen has gotten over the years, we could see the game slow down for Trubisky. He is also a tough player that would be a culture fit in Buffalo, which has proven to be a big deal for them. On top of that, Trubisky will surely be a cheap addition to the team, which will be worthwhile for Buffalo this offseason.
