Dwayne Haskins has been on quite the roller coaster ride this season. He went from being the Week 16 starting quarterback and being named captain for the Washington Football Team to being cut as his former team clinches the playoffs with a win in Week 17. Haskins can only be labeled a bust for his NFL career thus far. While he may have plenty of talent, his behavior and mindset behind closed doors or off the field has made most teams give him zero level of interest.

However, it would be surprising to see no team give Haskins another chance to become the player he was drafted to be. Of course, the opportunity will likely be a backup gig. These are three teams desperate enough to sign Haskins.

1. New York Jets

Did you say desperate? That label goes hand in hand with the New York Jets, who recently played their way out of the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Now, without the top overall pick, they could be essentially forced into sticking with Sam Darnold. Adding Haskins to the quarterback room would at least give themselves another first-round pick that they could try to develop.

2. Cincinnati Bengals

Now, this depends on if there is any animosity between Haskins and Joe Burrow, has Haskins beat out Burrow at Ohio State. If they are fine together, the Bengals could definitely use a better backup than what they have. Excluding last game against the Houston Texans, the Bengals have passed for 595 yards and only four touchdowns in four starts without Burrow. Haskins has more talent than that, and his services may be needed, as Burrow works to get back to football.

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Hear me out. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have zero plans for their future at quarterback. Tom Brady is 43 years old, and his backups are Blaine Gabbert and Ryan Griffin. Haskins can be the third-string quarterback and learn how to be a professional from Brady. Clearly, Tampa has zero issues with bringing in big personalities to their locker room, so Haskins shouldn't be anything too crazy.
