Here we are in mid July and the 2019 MLB Trade Deadline is a just over two weeks away. With rumors flying all over the place, the Toronto Blue Jays have certainly been mentioned more than once as a team preparing to be a seller.

So, which players could end up being shipped to a new city prior to the July 31 non-waiver deadline? Here's a look at three guys to keep an eye on.

1. Marcus Stroman, SP

The lone All-Star for Toronto this season, Marcus Stroman is going to attract a ton of calls leading up to July 31. Stroman is the kind of starter teams are often desperate to acquire before going on a potential World Series run. The team that's been mentioned the most with Stroman has, of course, been the New York Yankees. The Bronx Bombers have plenty of young talent they can offer Toronto, including outfielder Clint Frazier. We'll have to wait and see if the two AL East foes decide to do business with one another.

2. Ken Giles, RP

Ken Giles is putting together a brilliant season for Toronto. Though many think of Giles as the guy who punched himself while with the Astros, his numbers prove he's one of the best closers in baseball. Entering play on July 15, he holds a 1.45 ERA, with 13 saves and 53 strikeouts in 31 innings pitched. While Giles is currently dealing with nerve inflammation in his right arm, he's certainly a top option to be traded. And recent word suggests that a possible reunion with the Phillies could be in the works.

3. Freddy Galvis, SS

Freddy Galvis is putting together a fine campaign for the Blue Jays. The 29-year-old shortstop has clubbed 15 homers and added 44 RBI. So why would Toronto trade him? There's a youth movement going on up North and the Blue Jays could certainly add some more young pieces from a contender looking to add his veteran experience to their lineup. The Blue Jays are looking to the future and trading Galvis now, while his stock is high, could be a smart move for Toronto.
