3 Pitchers Bryce Harper has Dominated the Most

Bryce Harper has had his ups and downs over eight major league seasons, but there's no denying that he's shown himself to be incredibly dangerous from the dish.
Spending most of his career with the Washington Nationals and now in the NL East with the Philadelphia Phillies, he's also had the chance to become very familiar with a handful of pitchers.
These are the three that Harper has dominated the most during his time in the majors.
3. Henderson Alvarez
Harper has racked up 10 hits in 17 career at-bats against Henderson Alvarez. That's the fewest at-bats he has needed for double-digit hits against pitcher by a big margin, with the next being 23. His .588 batting average against Alvarez is also his best mark for any pitcher he's faced at least 10 times. Only two of those hits were home runs, but the consistency has been staggering.
2. Sean O'Sullivan
Harper's numbers against Sean O'Sullivan are impressive for different reasons. The pair have faced off only seven times, but Harper took O'Sullivan yard on three of the seven occasions. That's tied for the third-most home runs he's hit against any pitcher, and he has at least 20 at-bats against each of the other four hurlers he's hit that mark against. Those dingers leave him with a staggering 1.714 slugging percentage in the split — .414 points better than he has against any other pitcher he's met at least seven times.
1. Julio Teheran
Harper has 8 more at-bats against Julio Teheran (47) than he has against any pitcher. That familiarity has clearly worked in Harper's favor. He's tagged Teheran for 19 hits, 9 home runs and 21 RBI, with 12 walks to just 7 strikeouts. Despite being a strong pitcher over his career, Teheran has allowed Harper to hit for a .404/.533/1.043 slash line. That's compared to Harper's overall career average of .276/.385/.512. Dominating over a sample-size that big is incredible.
