Following a Week 7 divisional loss to the New Orleans Saints, the Carolina Panthers sit in a strange position. They have a 3-4 record, and Christian McCaffrey's return is right around the corner. However, they are unlikely capable of contending, which should point to them being sellers at the NFL trade deadline.

With that in mind, these are three Panthers players that could be traded before the deadline.

1. Curtis Samuel, WR

Playing on the final season of his rookie contract, Curtis Samuel is up for a pay raise this offseason. Given the fact that he is, at best, the fourth option on this offense, it feels unlikely that the Panthers offer much to bring him back. With many contenders in need of more wide receiver help, the Panthers could easily find a suitor for Samuel's talents.

2. Eli Apple, CB

Eli Apple is another player that is set to hit free agency this offseason. Apple has five years of NFL experience to this point. While he has had his fair share of ups and downs, his experience would be welcomed depth to any contender. Dealing him would also open opportunities for the rookies and inexperience on this defense.

3. Greg Little, OT

The 2019 second-round pick has not lived up to expectations in Carolina. Playing just 22 percent of the snaps this season, Greg Little is expendable for this team. His trade value also seems to only be dropping, so getting what they can for him now would be wise.
