3 NFL Teams on Upset Alert in Week 4

The 2021 NFL season is off to an exciting start through the first three weeks, with plenty of surprises and fantastic games. Another full slate of games is upon us again this week, and there are plenty of matchups to place some wagers on.
Using odds from FanDuel Sportsbook, here are three teams that could be on upset alert in Week 4.
1. Chicago Bears (-3) vs Detroit Lions
The Chicago Bears enter this NFC North clash as 3-point favorites over the Detroit Lions. Quickly from the eye test, the Lions are the better of these two squads despite their 0 in the win column. Whether it's coaching or play-calling, clearly Dan Campbell has his Detroit squad in a better position than Chicago. The Justin Fields-Andy Dalton drama ensues with Matt Nagy declining to make a firm decision in Week 4. With Fields under center in Week 3, Chicago struggled immensely, to the tune of 1 measly net passing yard. The Cleveland Browns dominated time of possession (39:34 to 20:26) and Detroit's rushing duo of D'Andre Swift and Jamaal Williams has the ability to keep Chicago's offense off the field again in this one.
2. Denver Broncos (-1) vs Baltimore Ravens
It's hard to envision a Baltimore Ravens squad that won 11 games in 2020 as underdogs to a Denver Broncos team that won just 5 games. Denver has looked good with a perfect 3-0 start, however has benefited from matchups against the bad Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Jets. The home field advantage plays into this slim spread and Baltimore could easily "upset" the Broncos in Week 4. Denver's defense ranks in the top-3 of both passing yards and rushing yards allowed, but again, the Jaguars and Jets factor. Look for a heavy dose of Lamar Jackson in this one. He leads the team with 35 rushing attempts in addition to 761 passing yards and 3 touchdowns through the air. Denver likes to run the ball (50%), which is a bad matchup against the Ravens' better defensive unit. Baltimore ranks top-10 in rushing yards allowed this season (79.0 per game).
3. New Orleans Saints (-7.5) vs New York Giants
The New Orleans Saints are 2-1 on the year, but one of those wins came in a bizarre Week 1 performance from the Green Bay Packers. The other win came at the hands of a New England Patriots team that looks worse by the day. The New York Giants, on the other hand, haven't found the win column but two of those losses were by 3 points or less. Statistically, New York presents a better offense despite the record with 350.3 yards per game compared to the Saints' 234.0 per game mark. The Giants have also only surrendered 2 turnovers in 2021, while the Saints forced 3 turnovers in each of their wins. New York has the ability to hold onto the football, which foils a big key to the Saints success in Week 4. The spread is a little misleading and don't be surprised if New York is within a score (with a fighting chance) late in this one.
