The conclusion of the NFL regular season in Week 17 brings preparation for the playoffs for some, but others will begin their offseason early and look ahead to 2021. "Black Monday" in the league refers to the day after Week 17, where owners decide to shake up their teams and let key personnel go in hopes of starting a new era fresh.

Some coaches are clearly on the hot seat and likely to get the boot when Week 17 concludes. With that in mind, here are three head coaches who are most likely to be fired on Black Monday.

3. Matt Nagy, Chicago Bears

Matt Nagy and the Chicago Bears looked destined for a breakup midway through the season with the team struggling. After a six-game losing streak, though, Chicago has rattled off three straight wins and could make the playoffs on Sunday. However, the team's mini-resurgence still doesn't mean Nagy's job is safe. After an 8-8 season last year and the team's earlier failures this season, the Bears could be better off with a new leader rather than running it back. Chicago's top target if Nagy is let go has already been leaked, which shows that the team is already considering a different future.

2. Doug Marrone, Jacksonville Jaguars

As opposed to Nagy's uncertain job status, Doug Marrone looks like a goner as head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The team is headed for the No. 1 pick in the draft and could post its worst record in a season ever if they lose in Week 17. It's been a string of poor years for the Jaguars, who have sustained three straight losing seasons under Marrone. The team made the AFC Championship in Marrone's first season in 2017, but things are headed for a rebuild with expected No. 1 pick Trevor Lawrence, and parting ways with Marrone would be the smart choice.

1. Adam Gase, New York Jets

New York Jets head coach Adam Gase looks to be in the same camp as Marrone. There are already reports that Gase will be let go following Week 17, which comes as little surprise. The Jets haven't had a winning season under Gase in his two years as head coach, following up a 7-9 record last year with a 2-13 record this season. If New York finishes with their two lone wins, it'll be the second-fewest victories in a season in the team's history. The Jets, hopefully, are already looking at replacements who could revitalize the franchise.
