3 NBA Stars Who Could Be Traded on Draft Night

The NBA Offseason is already heating up. With rumors flying left and right of potential trades ahead of or on NBA Draft night this Thursday, July 29, there are a few stars that could potentially be on the move.
Let's take a look at three stars who could have a new home by Thursday.
1. Ben Simmons, Philadelphia 76ers, PG
It seems like a forgone conclusion the Sixers will be trading Ben Simmons at some point this offseason, and prior to draft night could be their chance at the best potential return. A woeful playoff performance and Simmons' inability to see major improvement on his biggest weakness (shooting), Philly is ready to move on. Teams like the Warriors, Celtics, Blazers and even Clippers have all been seen on the Simmons rumor mill. However, expecting him to be dealt for a bag of chips and a jar of Vegemite is the ultimate form of recency bias. Philly will surely be looking for at least one first round pick and an All-Star-caliber player in any deal they consider for the former No. 1 overall pick.
2. C.J. McCollum, Portland Trail Blazers, SG
The Portland Trail Blazers need a major shakeup this offseason, star point guard Damian Lillard said as much. And if they aren't trying to do a full rebuild, trading star shooting guard C.J. McCollum is their only realistic path to do so this offseason. Although rumors suggest the Blazers have been stringent in talks around McCollum so far, that could change quickly. A team like the Golden State Warriors could put together a solid package around their two lottery picks, Andrew Wiggings and James Wiseman. Even a team like the Atlanta Hawks if they could build a package centered around a sign-and-trade with John Collins and Cam Reddish.
3. Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards, SG
Bradley Beal has not yet requested a trade officially, but he has reportedly been thinking about it more and more in recent days/weeks. Of the players on this list, Beal will cost the most to acquire, but there are still teams that could make it happen. The Warriors could offer a similar package to the one listed above, but with an additional first-round pick thrown in. The Boston Celtics could also be players if they were willing to part with Jaylen Brown. Even the New York Knicks could be involved if they were ok to sell the farm for a star like Beal.
