3 Most Likely Trade Destinations for DeAndre Hopkins

Houston Texans' star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is in the midst of a down season by his career standards. This has brought about recent reports that other NFL teams have been making calls to the Texans' front office to gauge the potential availability of Hopkins via trade.
While Houston has maintained it would take a huge offer for the Texans to consider trading one of their best players, if things get any worse or Houston begins to slide, we could envision a scenario in which Hopkins actually gets dealt.
3. Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson has seen a surprising amount of success in his sophomore season, carrying the Baltimore Ravens to a 5-2 record with 11 touchdowns through the air and five interceptions. Although, he has done this without a solid receiving corps, as Ravens' tight end Mark Andrews leads the team with 449 receiving yards. The most yardage from a receiver is from injured rookie WR Marquise Brown with 326 yards, but 147 of those came in a Week 1 outburst against the lowly Miami Dolphins. No other Raven is averaging more than 32 receiving yards per game. Hopkins would give Jackson both another deep threat to draw defenders down the field as well as a sure-handed receiver he can rely on any given play.
2. Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers already have Christian McCaffrey, who up to this point, has been the best fantasy player in the NFL this season. However, adding a player like Hopkins could make their offense truly dynamic, regardless of whether they have Kyle Allen or Cam Newton under center. D.J. Moore (33 catches for 425 yards and one TD) and Curtis Samuel (23 catches for 297 yards and 2 TDs) have had decent seasons thus far, but Carolina is still missing that go-to threat through the air, and that's something Hopkins would provide. He is a big body with an incredible catch radius that would help open up the field for both Moore and Samuel, as well as McCaffrey.
1. San Francisco 49ers
Yes, the San Francisco 49ers just acquired Emmanuel Sanders from the Denver Broncos earlier this week, but I don't think many would label their wide receiving corps as a "strong" one, even after that move. With a defense ready made for a Super Bowl run, adding a weapon like Hopkins could help close the gap between a mediocre offense through Week 8. Jimmy Garoppolo hasn't had the season many envisioned either, and his receiving corps hasn't done much to aid in that success. Bringing in a player like Hopkins could completely change that offense and give Garoppolo a weapon, who at his best, is as good as any receiver in the NFL.
