Zack Baun was the top linebacker for the Wisconsin Badgers last season, a program that has a proven track record of producing NFL talent from that position. Totaling 75 tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, 12.5 total sacks and 12.0 solo sacks in 2019.

Baun's 12.0 solo sacks were tied for the fifth-most in the FBS last year, and it was also the second-highest mark among all LBs. Baun is a versatile linebacker that could come in and help almost any team with a need at the position.

Projected by many to be right on the line of a first- or second-round pick, Baun has a number of teams that could be potential suitors in that range. Let's take a look at three teams who could target him in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Zack Baun Draft Projection

1. Cincinnatti Bengals

The Bengals will likely get their quarterback and new leader of the offense in Round 1 with Joe Burrow, but they could target a player like Baun at the top of Round 2 to help lead their defense. With the definite need for an upgrade in that position group, Baun could come in and be a versatile outside linebacker that can both rush the passer and help cover the middle of the field.

2. Green Bay Packers

The Packers lost two linebackers to the New York Giants this offseason, including their defensive captain Blake Martinez. While they signed Christian Kirksey to help fill that void, keeping Baun in Wisconsin could end up being the perfect fit. He could help patrol the outside of Green Bay's linebacking corps and turn into the tackle machine that Martinez was for them last season.

3. Cleveland Browns

Much like the Packers, Cleveland saw two linebackers leave in free agency this offseason as well, with Joe Schobert heading to Jacksonville and Kirksey to Green Bay. B.J. Goodson is a decent linebacker, but the Giants trade him to the Packers just to swap seventh-round picks in return, so take that for what it's worth. Baun would almost certainly be an instant upgrade on the outside for Cleveland. At the very worst, he provides them with linebacker depth and can also aid in the pass rush behind Olivier Vernon, who struggled to get to the quarterback in 2019.
