The Philadelphia Eagles finally won their first Super Bowl in 2017, but the long drought before that doesn't mean this isn't a franchise with a rich history. They won three NFL championships before the Super Bowl era, and there have been some incredible players to suit up in Philly over the years.
With that in mind, here's a look at the three greatest wide receivers in Eagles history.
Best Philadelphia Eagles Wide Receivers of All Time
3. Harold Carmichael (1971-1983)
Harold Carmichael is the all-time Eagles leader in both receptions (589) and receiving yards (8,878), but some of those big numbers came from simple longevity. It's obviously impressive to hold those franchise records, but he also played 180 games with the Eagles, averaging just 49.9 receiving yards per game.
2. Mike Quick (1982-1990)
Mike Quick's 6,464 yards are the third-most in Eagles history, and his 61 touchdowns are also tied for third. Quick played 101 games for the Eagles, and he made five straight Pro Bowls (1983 to 1987) while earning first-team All-Pro honors in 1983 and 1985 and leading the NFL in receiving yards in '83.
1. DeSean Jackson (2008-2013, 2019-Present)
Turning our view to the modern NFL, DeSean Jackson has made the most of his 90 games in Philadelphia. His 69.7 yards per game are the best for anyone with at least 25 played, turning in 6,276 yards and 34 touchdowns. He's especially dear to the city of Philadelphia thanks to the huge numbers he has posted against the Cowboys. Jackson has also added a ton of value as a returner, with 4 punt return touchdowns to his name, which ties him with Darren Sproles for the best mark in franchise history.
