The Kansas City Chiefs have been among the league's most dangerous offenses since Andy Reid took over in 2013. But even before then, the Chiefs have always seemed to find a way to field a competent offense, and they've done so with talented players across many different positions.
While tight ends have generally been the more dominant pass-catching threats in Kansas City, this franchise has had its fair share of great wideouts as well. With that in mind, let's take a look at the three best wide receivers in the team's history.
Best Chiefs WRs
3. Tyreek Hill (2016-Present)
Tyreek Hill might be the most dangerous offensive weapon in the NFL today. Thanks to his blazing speed, defenses need to account for Hill at all times, which opens up quite a lot in Kansas City's playbook. Hill has been named a Pro Bowler in all four of his seasons at the NFL level, and he's already a two-time first-team All-Pro selection. With a few more seasons like this, Hill will almost certainly finish No. 1 on this list.
2. Dwayne Bowe (2007-14)
Dwayne Bowe was never as consistent as Chiefs fans hoped he would be, but at his peak, he was a real threat. During his eight-year tenure in Kansas City, Bowe had four seasons with at least 995 receiving yards. He led the league in touchdowns with 15 in 2010, where he was named to his lone Pro Bowl. He has the second-most receiving yards among wide receivers in Chiefs history, with 7,155.
1. Otis Taylor (1965-75)
Otis Taylor has more yards than any wide receiver in Chiefs history (7,306) and he's also first in TDs (57) among wideouts. He trails Tony Gonzalez in both categories, but no Chiefs wide receiver more productive than Taylor. He's a thee-time Pro Bowler, and two-time first-team All-Pro selection across his 11-year career in KC.
