The Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys rivalry is one of the fiercest in NFL history. The Cowboys hold a 69-53 lead in their all-time head-to-head matchups, but that doesn't mean the Eagles haven't had some incredible wins of their own.

With that in mind, here are the Eagles' three biggest wins over the Cowboys.

3. Nov. 12, 1979: Week 11

This was the Eagles' first ever win in Texas Stadium, and it was a long time in the making. The stadium opened in October of 1971, but the Eagles had lost nine straight road games against the Cowboys through the decade. They had also lost nine consecutive games against the Cowboys overall before this one. Led by Wilbert Montgomery's 127 rushing yards and Harold Carmichael's 2 receiving touchdowns, the Eagles finally got the job done against Roger Staubach and Tom Landry.

2. Dec. 28, 2008: Week 17

This was the biggest blowout the Eagles have ever scored against the Cowboys, winning 44-6. It wasn't just a meaningless Week 17 blowout, either. Philly was 8-6-1 and the Cowboys were 8-7 heading into this game, which meant a potential NFC Wild Card berth was on the line. The Eagles scored 2 defensive touchdowns and Donovan McNabb accounted for 3 (2 passing and 1 rushing) as they completely dismantled the Cowboys in all facets of the game. The Eagles took advantage of that Wild Card appearance and made a nice playoff run as well, upsetting the NFC East-winning New York Giants in the divisional round and making the final NFC Championship of the McNabb-Andy Reid era.

This is the Eagles' lone playoff win over the Cowboys, and it was a big one. The regular season race had been a close one in 1980, with both teams finishing 12-4 but Philly winning the NFC East on tiebreakers. The teams had also split their regular season meetings, with the Cowboys taking the most recent matchup. The first half was close and low-scoring, sitting at 7-7 heading into half time. The Eagles ran away with it in the second half though, ultimately winning the game 20-7 behind a massive 194 rushing yards from Wilbert Montgomery. This win earned the Eagles their first ever Super Bowl appearance.
