3 Best Prop Bets for Jazz vs Nugets NBA Game on FanDuel Sportsbook
Wednesday's full NBA slate features 11 games, including the late game double-header at 10:00 p.m. EST on ESPN between the Utah Jazz and Denver Nuggets. The Jazz (27-10) hold a big lead over the second-place Nuggets (18-17) in the Northwest Division, and Utah is down to a 2.5-point road favorite with an over/under of 223.5 points.
Here's three of the best prop bets for the Jazz-Nuggets game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
Jazz vs Nuggets Player Props
1. Nikola Jokic - Assists: Under 7.5 (-112)
Jokic is a defensive force for Denver, leading the team in both steals (1.4) and blocks (0.8) per game. He also leads the Nuggets in scoring (25.7), rebounding (14.0) and assists (6.9) per contest. That's why he's in the discussion for NBA MVP. With Monte Morris still out, Jokic has to carry an ever greater load on offense and will be counted on for scoring and rebounding. His assists have fallen the last three games to 3, 3 and 5, and we'll call for that trend and assist production to continue.
2. Will Barton - Assists Over 3.5 (-114)
Meanwhile, Barton's assists have risen to 6 in each of the past two games. He also had 4 assists against the Warriors top-rated efficiency defense three games ago. His scoring is up to 15.1 points per game, but he's still counted on as a facilitator more than a scorer along with a stronger presence on the defensive end.
3. Denver Nuggets - First Quarter Winner (+110)
The Nuggets outscored the Warriors 31-16 in the first quarter three games back as an underdog. Utah has been outscored in the first quarter in their last two games, including against defensive deficient New Orleans. The Nuggets return home from a four-game road trip and should be focused and at their best against their division leader with the Jazz also less than full strength and health.
