3 Best Prop Bets for Buccaneers vs Washington NFC Wild Card Game
By Max Staley

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Washington Football Team in what is quietly one of the most intriguing matchups of Wild Card Weekend. Tampa Bay is currently a 7.5-point favorite over Washington, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL playoff odds.
If you're looking to get a little more creative with your wagering this weekend, there are a ton of NFL prop bets available on FanDuel Sportsbook. Here are three of the best prop bets for this Bucs-Washington clash.
Buccaneers vs Washington Prop Bets
3. Tom Brady - Passing Yards: Under 289.5 (-112)
Fading a red-hot Tom Brady in the playoffs may be a bit nerve-racking, but Washington matches up really well with this Bucs' offense. While Brady is averaging an astounding 379.0 passing yards per game over his last three, he's a different player when pressured. Brady led the NFL in passing yards and had the league's sixth-best passer rating when operating from a clean pocket in 2020. But that passer rating drops to No. 21 in the league when pressured. Meanwhile, Washington sits tied for the fourth-highest pressure rate in the league (25.8%) and had the sixth-most sacks (47). Brady has only played three games against a top-10 defense in terms of sacks, averaging 221.3 passing yards per game in those three. He topped out at just 239 yards. The GOAT is not nearly as prolific when under duress, and few defenses are capable of getting after him like Washington can.
2. Antonio Gibson - Rushing Yards: Under 47.5 (-112)
Antonio Gibson is battling injuries, and while he's trending toward suiting up, he's not exactly a surefire bet to play. Even if he does, it's tough to imagine him finding much success against the league's best rushing defense. Tampa Bay was the only unit to surrender fewer than 1,440 rushing yards, giving up just 1,289 on the year. Plus, the odds suggest that the Buccaneers will be playing from ahead here, and that could force passing-down back J.D. McKissic onto the field in favor of Gibson as Washington plays catch-up. Don't expect a big game from the impressive rookie on Saturday.
1. Any Time Touchdown Scorer: Rob Gronkowski (+200)
Rob Gronkowski has played 16 playoff games in his career, catching a whopping 12 TDs. When the lights are brightest, Gronkowski always seems to be at his best. The future Hall-of-Fame TE also seems to have hit his stride, hauling in 3 TDs over his final five games played. There's no one Brady trusts more than Gronk, and he's somehow only got the fifth-best odds on the Bucs to find the end zone.
