2022 US Open Odds: Daniil Medvedev Favored Over Rafael Nadal on FanDuel Sportsbook

Grand Slam season is almost over with the 2022 US Open set to get underway in under a week. While you can find familiar faces at the top of the odds, one name is notably missing. Novak Djokovic has withdrawn due to the fact that he cannot travel to the United States unvaccinated against COVID-19.
The new favorite is Daniil Medvedev, who has +220 odds to take home the title, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The 26-year-old is the tournament's reigning champion and enters rested after not being able to play at Wimbledon. He'll have to get by some tough competition to repeat, though.
Rafael Nadal is right on Medvedev's tail with odds set at +380 and is aiming to earn his third Grand Slam title this year. It would also be his record 23rd one overall. Keep in mind the last time Nadal won the US Open was in 2019 when he defeated Medvedev in a thrilling five sets during the finals.
Young prodigy Carlos Alcaraz (+550) and 2022 Wimbledon runner-up Nick Kyrgios (+900) round out the top four competitors. Here's a look at the rest of the men's 2022 US Open odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
