Charles Schwab Challenge Picks & Predictions

Talor Gooch finished T14 at Colonial last year. He's top 20 this season in scoring and birdie average, and he has a win on Tour this season in November and ranks No. 11 in the current FedEx Cup Standings. The former Oklahoma State Cowboy looks primed for a solid week in Fort Worth.

The course at Colonial is designed by the same architect as last week's PGA Championship course at Southern Hills. Gooch finished T20 at the PGA Championship, and gained strokes across the board in all key stats. The 30-year-old ranks top 25 in Tee-to-Green and Short Game over his last 50 rounds, and No. 3 in Around-the-Green. Look for his solid play to continue and another top 20 finish with a Top 10 finish (+360) within reach.
