Washington Gets Terrible Jon Bostic Injury Update After Week 4

The Washington Football Team squeaked out a close 34-30 win in Week 4, but it didn't come without a cost. Among several injuries suffered against the Atlanta Falcons, linebacker Jon Bostic exited early with an apparent shoulder issue.
The latest on Bostic is far from good news.

Jon Bostic Injury
Bostic suffered a pectoral injury against the Falcons, and it could be a "serious one," according to Ian Rapoport. That raises fears about the veteran LB missing significant time if surgery is required.
It hasn't been a strong start to the season for the eighth-year pro. He's currently posting a career-worst 30.2 overall grade from ProFootballFocus and has failed to make much of a pass-rushing impact to this point with zero sacks and one tackle for loss.
Still, this struggling defense can't afford to lose any key contributors. Washington has fallen off of a cliff in 2021, going from No. 3 in Football Outsiders' defensive DVOA metric in 2020 to No. 29 in 2021.
They'll now turn their attention to a matchup with the New Orleans Saints in Week 5.
