VIDEO: Remembering When Earl Thomas Gave Up on This Play to Allow Nick Chubb to Score an 88-Yard TD Run

Earl Thomas has been making headlines for many of the wrong reasons lately, which eventually culminated in his recent release from the Baltimore Ravens.
Despite being one of the most talented safeties in the league, it appears as though there's always a breaking point with teammates and an organization when it comes to tolerating personalities and fits within that team.
While it may feel like kicking Thomas while he's down to highlight a play like this one, it does appear as though the seven-time Pro Bowler gives up his effort in a potential chase-down and tackle of Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb here.
As far as an unceremonious ending to Thomas' tenure with the Ravens is concerned, the writing may have already been on the wall well before his altercation with Ravens' teammate Chuck Clark this week that lead to his release.
