For many, being an MLB ball boy or ball girl is a fairly laidback job. A foul ball rolls your way, hop off your stool, grab the ball and hand it to the closest kid enjoying the game at the ballpark.

However, some of them go all out and get an "A" for effort every night.

For a certain Cincinnati Reds ballboy, that's what he did during a recent game. Sometimes that hard-nosed effort can backfire and cause you to make a mistake or wipeout.

You have to admire this guys speed, agility and attentiveness. As soon as that ball went foul, he turned on the jets. The dismount didn't exactly go as planned, but at the end of the day, he got the job done, and that's all that matters.
