Travis Kelce Fantasy Outlook Points to Another TE1 Finish
By Max Staley

Travis Kelce isn't unanimously viewed as the best tight end in football, as there are those who argue George Kittle is the more complete player. However, when it comes to fantasy football, Kelce has been the undisputed champ at tight end since 2016.
In fact, Kelce has finished as the overall TE1 in PPR leagues in four consecutive seasons now. There's no reason to believe he'll slow down in 2020.

Travis Kelce Fantasy Football Outlook
Kelce currently has an average draft position (ADP) of TE1 and that's exactly where he should be going.
The positional advantage of having Kelce is pretty obvious. He averaged 15.9 PPR points per game in 2019, while the TE12 Mike Gesicki averaged 8.5. That's a difference of 7.4 PPG each week, which is definitely enough to swing a win or loss.
That advantage won't come cheap, though, as he's coming off the board in the mid-to-late second round. But he's definitely worth it – having Kelce is essentially like having another WR1 in your lineup. He's averaged 275.5 PPR points per year across his two seasons with Patrick Mahomes at the helm, and that would've made him the WR4 in 2019.

Picking Kelce might leave you a little weaker at either RB or WR, but the advantage he gives you at TE should be more than enough to offset that. Plus, he hasn't missed a game due to injury since 2013, so he's as safe as it gets in that regard.
We have him ranked as the TE1 and the No. 19 overall player in our 2020 fantasy football rankings.
