Two teams on opposite sides of the spectrum face off in tonight's matchup. The perennial powerhouse Utah Jazz travel to the inexperienced Orlando Magic tonight, in a game one team should dominate from start to finish. In this prediction, let's dive into the Jazz vs. Magic matchup and determine the best bet for this Sunday Night NBA prediction.

Sunday Night NBA pick: Jazz vs. Magic Prediction

Utah enters this game on fire with a 7-2 overall record and a 6-3 record against the spread. Orlando is experiencing the opposite scenario as they enter this game 2-8 overall and 3-7 against the spread.

Crossroads of the West

The Jazz wrap up their three-game road trip tonight in Orlando against a team they should dominate. The Magic are one of the most inefficient teams offensively, and with a Utah defense that ranks in the top 10, things could get ugly fast. The Jazz own the best perimeter defense in the league, and if there's one area that the Magic can hurt teams, it's via the three-ball.

On offense, Utah has the third-best effective field goal percentage (eFG%) in the league at 54.2%. They are also top 10 at offensive rebound percentage (ORB%) and rank number one overall at free throw rate. This offense can destroy the best of defenses, and the Magic don't have a top-tier unit.

Defensively, the Jazz own the third-best eFG% at 48.1% and are top 10 at defensive rebound percentage. Utah will dominate the boards in this game and prevent second-chance points for Orlando while also increasing their opportunities for second-chance points.

Walt Disney World

The Magic have started the season 0-4 at home and will end up 0-5 after tonight's matchup. Orlando is losing by an average of 15 points per game this season and will face one of the best teams in the entire league tonight. Defense travels well in the NBA, and with Utah owning the sixth-best efficiency rating on defense, the Magic will struggle to put points on the board.

Orlando ranks 24th overall in eFG%, and they turn the ball over at the second-highest rate in the league this season. They own a -8.9 net rating, which ranks fourth-worst in the league and are bottom five in offensive and defensive ratings. Defensively, the Magic rank in the bottom half in nearly every category, so good luck trying to stop one of the best offenses in the NFL.

Jazz vs. Magic prediction and pick

This is about as straightforward as a pick can be. Utah is one of the best teams in the league, both defensively and offensively, while Orlando is in the bottom five in both categories. Home court advantage means nothing in this game as defense travels well for Utah, and Orlando is winless on their home court. Utah has too many weapons and will likely win this game by 20+, so I'll gladly take the Jazz -11.5 at the FanDuel Sportsbook.
