The Seattle Seahawks' biggest issue is clear — their defense. Allowing the NFL's third-most points per game (30.4), even their elite offense is sometimes struggling to keep up with opponents.

The defense got great news this week, however, as All-Pro defensive tackle Damon Harrison appears to be nearing a debut.

"Snacks" briefly retired this offseason before opting to sign with the Seahawks, and he's been taking his time getting back into game shape before taking the field.

Still just 31 years old, Harrison had a down year in 2019, but he had been a monster before that. In 2018 he received a stellar overall grade of 92.0 from Pro Football Focus — better than his 90.1 grade from his 2016 All-Pro campaign.

The big-bodied Harrison isn't going to help with Seattle's issues against the pass, as he's only combined for 13 quarterback hits over his last three seasons. But he should make them even more stout against the run, which hopefully will allow them to adjust their defensive personnel and play-calling to focus more on stopping the pass.

Even with concerns surrounding their defense, the Seahawks are tied for the fifth-best odds to win the Super Bowl in the NFL, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
