San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert has looked like a true league-winning player this season. Unfortunately, the 28-year-old just hasn't been able to stay on the field in 2020, as he has only played four games on the year and hasn't suited up since Week 6.

But fantasy managers who have patiently stashed him on their bench may finally get to reap the rewards. Mostert is trending toward playing in Week 12, and he has real league-winning upside if he can stay healthy down the stretch.

Raheem Mostert Fantasy Outlook

Assuming he's good to go in Week 12, it'll be difficult to keep the 49ers' lead back on your bench. Mostert has put up at least 9.0 PPR points in each of his four appearances on the year, despite never playing more than 60% of the team's snaps and only finishing two of those four games healthy.

He's also recorded at least 14.0 PPR points in three of those four and has already put up two games with at least 18.5 points. The 17.1 PPR points he's averaging on a per-game basis would make him the RB8 had he played enough to qualify.

Fantasy managers may be hesitant to rely on him in Week 12 due to the matchup with the Los Angeles Rams, who surrender bottom-five fantasy production to opposing RBs. But his upside is hard to ignore.

And thankfully, his schedule lightens up considerably after this week. He'll take on the Buffalo Bills in Week 13, the Washington Football Team in Week 14. And he'll draw easy matchups against the Dallas Cowboys (Week 15) and Arizona Cardinals (Week 16) in the standard fantasy football playoff format.

If he's healthy, which is admittedly a big if, Mostert should be a true RB1 down the stretch.
