The San Francisco 49ers backfield has been a carousel of headaches for fantasy owners this season. However, the clearance of the supposed top dog could provide a bit of clarity for the Week 15 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Head coach Kyle Shanahan recently came out and said that Raheem Mostert is good to go for Sunday's matchup.
Mostert has been dealing with an ankle injury, though he played his typical workload in the Week 14 game against the Washington Football team. He finished the game with 14 carries for 65 yards and two receptions for five yards, which was good for RB31 in PPR scoring.
He also was on the field for 49 percent of the Niners' offensive snaps, which surprisingly was the largest snap share he has had since Week 1. Though, his typical workload has continued to be in the mid-to-high 40 percent range.
Mostert faces a Dallas run defense that ranks dead last in yards allowed per rush this season (5.1). Assuming Shanahan is telling the truth and Mostert able to play close to half of the offensive snaps again, he could be in for a solid fantasy day.
