NBA Finals MVP Odds: Giannis Antetokounmpo Has Big Lead Heading into Conference Championship Round on FanDuel

After going down 2-0 and then 3-2, Giannis Antetokounmpo truly put his team on his back as the Milwaukee Bucks survived a thrilling seven-game series against the Brooklyn Nets. Ultimately, Giannis sent Kevin Durant and his superstar trio home and punched a ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals to square off against the Game 7 winner between the Atlanta Hawks and Philadelphia 76ers.

Thanks to such an impressive Eastern Conference Semifinals performance, Antetokounmpo has now emerged as the clear-cut favorite to take home the NBA Finals MVP (+160) on FanDuel Sportsbook. Giannis already held the leading odds, but his Game 7 performance and the elimination of Durant has widened this lead.

Giannis was fantastic in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, averaging 31.9 points, 12.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists per contest on 57% shooting from the field. He played 50 of the 53 possible minutes in the thrilling overtime Game 7, putting up a double-double with 40 points and 13 rebounds.

If Giannis continues this hot streak, there's no question the Bucks could find themselves in position to win the second-ever NBA Championship in franchise history. If the Bucks are crowned champions, it's hard to imagine someone not named "Greek Freak" taking home the Finals MVP hardware.
