The 2021 NFL Draft is in just a few weeks and one defensive prospect that has continued to open people's eyes is Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons. Parsons racked up 191 tackles (18.0 for loss), 6.5 sacks and 5 pass breakups during his 26 games played with the Nittany Lions.

Every NFL team knows how important it is to have a hardworking and tough linebacker at the center of the defense. With that being said, here are three of the most likely team to draft Parsons.

Micah Parsons NFL Draft Prediction

1. Denver Broncos (No. 9)

The Denver Broncos are on the verge of being a playoff-caliber NFL team and adding Parsons could be what takes them over the top. He would complete what is already a strong defense and bring a game-changing presence to the middle of the field. Pairing him with veteran Von Miller would create a duo that no opposing offense will want to face. If the Broncos don't make a move up for a quarterback, they would be smart to grab Parsons and lock up the linebacker position for years to come.

2. Philadelphia Eagles (No. 12)

The Philadelphia Eagles have built a reputation for not spending a lot of capital at the linebacker spot, but they may not be able to pass up the opportunity to draft Parsons if he is still there. This team lacks a player on defense with brute force that makes offenses change their game plans ahead of time. Parsons also brings exceptional quickness to the table as he ran a 4.39-second 40-yard dash. His combination of size and speed is something the Eagles haven't had at linebacker in a long time.

3. New England Patriots (No. 15)

It is hard to see Parsons falling this far in the first round, but the New England Patriots are a likely landing spot for him if he does. The Patriots dynasty has been built on a stone-wall defense and Parsons is arguably the best defensive player in this class. He has the defensive awareness to play in this system and the versatility to shine under head coach Bill Belichick. Parsons forced 6 fumbles during college and can play the run just as well as the pass. He would be a steal here for the Patriots.
