MAAC Tournament Prediction
Seeing the Iona Gaels at almost even odds here should entice a lot of sports bettors. Head coach Rick Pitino's team looks poised for a March Madness berth after finishing 17-3 in conference play (25-6 overall). Keep in mind the Gaels have also won each of the last five MAAC tournaments.
Iona is the only team in the MAAC to rank within the top 100 in KenPom Ratings and has a signature win over Alabama this season. The Gaels are led by guard Tyson Jolly (14.5 points per game) and have a dominant rim protector on defense in Nelly Junior Joseph (8.2 rebounds & 1.9 blocks per game).
The talent Pitino possesses on this roster will make his team a heavy favorite in each round. Rather than taking a chance on betting those spreads, place a wager on Iona to earn yet another auto bid.
