Kyler Murray Fantasy Outlook Includes Massive Week 1 Upside Against Titans

Truly breaking out in his sophomore season, Kyler Murray finished as the QB3 in fantasy football in 2020, trailing only Josh Allen and NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers.
Even QB3 might be a low expectation for Murray to start the 2021 fantasy football season. He's positioned to get off to a monster start thanks to a great matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
The #Cardinals were the league's fastest-paced offense last season.

The #Titans were the 3rd fastest.#Cardinals at #Titans on Sunday ???
The Cardinals have played at a very high tempo ever since Kliff Kingsbury took over as head coach, and they were the NFL's fastest-paced offense in 2020. The Titans weren't far behind, at third, and this game should be a shootout.
Combining their fast pace with a pass defense that ranked just 30th in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA metric, the Titans allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks.
Let's also not forget that Murray suffered a shoulder injury in Week 11, closing out the year playing hurt. Before that injury he was on an incredible pace for fantasy production.
Before injuring his shoulder in Week 11 last year, Kyler Murray had the most fantasy points of a QB through 10 weeks ... *of all time*.

And he did that with 9 games, not 10. pic.twitter.com/LxJjTrwZyg
Murray's lowest single-game fantasy score across the first 10 weeks was 21.7 points. In that stretch, he also had more games with at least 32 fantasy points (three) than games with less than 25 fantasy points (two).
This Cardinals offense looks just as loaded as it was in 2020, and a plus matchup against the Titans has Murray checking in at QB3 in The Duel's Week 1 fantasy football rankings.
