Hugh Freeze Will Reportedly Coach Liberty From Dentist's Chair Against Louisiana-Lafayette in Week 2

Forget Carmen San Diego. Where in the world is Hugh Freeze coaching from? Last week, Freeze coached his Liberty Flames from a hospital bed. This week, it seems that Freeze will be coaching Liberty's Week 2 game against Louisiana-Lafayette from a dentist's chair.

It remains to be seen whether or not Freeze will be cleared to travel for his team's game in Week 2, as he's reportedly been dealing with back pain stemming from a serious staph infection. However, he hasn't let that stop him from coaching in 2019.
News story: Liberty hasn't yet publicly confirmed whether Hugh Freeze is cleared to travel to Louisiana -- but if he does make the trip, plans are being made to ship in a dental chair for him to use in the press box https://t.co/Ynz99bnDXa

If Freeze is cleared to coach this weekend, it seems that he'll need to do it from the confines of a dentist's chair that Liberty will ultimately ship to Louisiana-Lafayette.

Even though Liberty is 0-1 on the season, and a 14-point underdog in Week 2, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, you'd be hard pressed to find someone more committed to coaching than Freeze is. Hopefully, the coach gets back to full health and on the sidelines again soon.
