Giovani Bernard Fantasy Outlook Remains High Following Joe Mixon Injury Update

The Cincinnati Bengals have a tall task ahead of them in Week 10, taking on the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers. That will be made even more difficult by the fact that Joe Mixon (foot) has been ruled out once again.
Fantasy football managers with Giovani Bernard on their roster will be happy to hear the news, however, as he'll be a viable fantasy option again this week.

Mixon has missed two games with the injury, and in that time Bernard notched 13 carries with 5 targets in Week 7 followed by 15 carries with 4 targets in Week 8. He topped 16 fantasy points in both outings.
The Steelers have arguably the best defense in the NFL, ranking No. 2 in Football Outsiders' defensive DVOA metric. This limits Bernard's upside, and we shouldn't expect a ton of efficiency out of him.
He's a good bet for 15-20 opportunities, however, with a fair number of those likely to come as targets. That kind of volume means he continues to be a solid fantasy play despite the tough matchup, especially if you're in a PPR league.
