The San Francisco 49ers are really banged up right now, but it looks like this team is finally getting some good news. George Kittle practiced on Wednesday afternoon, and that should put him on track to play in Week 4.
George Kittle Fantasy Football Outlook
Simply put, if Kittle is active, you're playing him. We have him as the TE1 in our Week 4 fantasy rankings, thanks in large part to a soft matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
It's looking like he'll have to do them on without his starting quarterback, though. Jimmy Garoppolo hasn't practiced yet this week, and Nick Mullens will likely start in his place yet again.
Mullens was fantastic in his 2020 season debut. He threw for 343 yards and a TD without an interception in Week 3 against the New York Giants.
Kittle shouldn't get too much of a downgrade if Mullens does indeed replace Garoppolo. He's safe to fire up as a no-doubt TE1 if he's healthy this week.
