Fantasy Football ADP Duel: Would You Rather Draft Joe Mixon or Todd Gurley

There's no position more important in a fantasy football draft than your top running back. It's been that way for years and things likely aren't going to change.
Entering the new campaign, fantasy players all across the globe will be presented with tough decisions. So, we'll start things off for you. If you're on the clock in your draft, and you need to pick between Todd Gurley and Joe Mixon, who do you go with?

For Mixon, the former Oklahoma Sooner blew up in his second year in the league. He powered the Cincinnati Bengals' running game to the tune of 1,168 yards and eight touchdowns. He unfortunately missed a pair of games due to a knee injury, but it wasn't enough to slow him down and the injury doesn't appear likely to linger.
The same can't be said for Gurley. After it was revealed he's dealing with arthritis in his left knee, fans understandably have reason to be concerned with his status moving forward. Gurley missed plenty of action late in the season and was limited to just 10 carries and 35 yards in the Super Bowl loss to the New England Patriots.

While Gurley has come out and said he's not worried about his knee injury affecting his production, fans out there can't be naive. As a result, Mixon appears to be the much safer selection, though if healthy, Gurley's talented enough to finish as the RB1 in 2019.
When it's your turn to make a pick and these two are still left on the board, it'd probably be best to stick with the Bengals' star. Let's see if Gurley goes on and proves us wrong, though.
