The Atlanta Falcons are entering a new era. While Matt Ryan is still at the helm, Julio Jones is now a member of the Tennessee Titans. And the man who is essentially his replacement, No. 4 overall pick Kyle Pitts, is already making his presence felt at Falcons practice.

In fact, Atlanta is reportedly "force feeding" Pitts the ball, according to team beat writer Orlando Ledbetter.

It's no surprise that the Falcons want to get Pitts integrated into the offense quickly. Calvin Ridley is currently sidelined due to a foot injury, and with Jones out of the picture, Pitts is essentially Atlanta's de-facto No. 1 option.

Pitts is going to be a versatile chess piece for new head coach Arthur Smith. The team will likely use him at both wide receiver and tight end, and he looks poised for a massive opportunity as a rookie.

The young playmaker currently owns +1100 odds to take home the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, giving him the best such odds of any non-quarterback.
