Dalvin Cook has been in the headlines a bit during the recent quarantine, with news of contract disputes and the possibility he sits out if he does not get an extension. However, sitting out clearly does not mean taking a break, as shown by his recent workout.
Cook has struggled with injuries to begin his NFL career. He missed 17 games during his first two seasons, but stayed relatively healthy last year, playing 14 games. In those 14 games he totaled 1,654 yards and 13 touchdowns, showing just how dangerous he can be when healthy.
He is also looking great in this recent beach workout. Cook's ability to run and make cuts in sand bodes well for another terrific season in 2020, and his ability to run on tough terrain should make Minnesota Vikings fans optimistic if he is asked to play in the snow at any point this season.
Cook was not the only player on the beach for the workout. Baltimore Ravens rookie running back JK Dobbins was also there, looking equally as impressive. He could be taking over for Mark Ingram in Baltimore sooner rather than later.
