Super Bowl 56 is a great opportunity to watch some of the best football players on the entire planet. One name highlighting that list is Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp, who was undoubtedly the best WR in football this past year.

Kupp continued his regular-season dominance with a massive postseason effort, and now he's on pace to make NFL Playoff history in the Super Bowl. Here's how he can do this against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Cooper Kupp Playoff Record

Kupp needs just 7 receptions on Sunday to set a new NFL record for most catches in a single playoffs year. The previous mark of 31 receptions is held by Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, a feat he accomplished just last year.

It's a record that's easily in reach when you look at Kupp's season. There have been only three games (including the playoffs) when Kupp had fewer than 7 receptions. Two of those came against the Arizona Cardinals.

FanDuel Sportsbook likes Kupp to break this record, as well, judging on his over/under receptions prop. The prop is set at 8.5, with +110 odds on the over.

After all, Kupp led the league in every major receiving stat including receptions (145), receiving yards (1,947) and touchdowns (16). There's no reason to think this trend slows down during Super Bowl LVI.
