Chris Godwin was a surprising DNP on Wednesday coming off of a bye week. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout is apparently dealing with a foot injury, and he wasn't seen at practice Thursday.

This current foot issue threatens his Week 10 fantasy outlook.

Chris Godwin Fantasy Outlook

It's concerning to see the receiver limited by a foot injury following the bye, especially after his best game of the season.

Godwin torched the New Orleans Saints for 9 receptions, 140 yards and a TD. He ranked as WR3 in PPR formats with his 28.0-point outing, his third 20-plus performance during the 2021 campaign.

Godwin has established himself as the top wideout in a crowded Tampa Bay Buccaneers offenese. He's turned 69 targets into 50 receptions and 660 yards, all of which lead the Bucs' pass-catchers.

With Antonio Brown still sidelined, Godwin would be in for a larger workload if healthy as well. He's seen 23 targets over the last two games with Brown out.

Godwin's status is worth keeping a close eye on heading into the weekend. He could boom once again for managers if he does suit up, as he's set to face a Washington Football Team defense giving up the second-most PPR points per game (43.46) to WRs this season.
