The Kansas City Chiefs have dropped three of their last four games and are suddenly two games back of first place in the AFC West division. The team is in desperate need of a win as they take on the Washington Football Team in Week 6. Fortunately, Pro Bowl wide receiver Tyreek Hill is set to play.

Tyreek Hill Injury Update

Hill was officially listed as questionable due to a quadriceps injury, but things are continuing to trend in the right direction. The speedster missed two practices this past week and was limited in his participation on Friday. Hill returns as quarterback Patrick Mahomes' favorite deep threat on offense.

The Chiefs' offense has not been the issue this season averaging 30.8 points per game (No. 5 in NFL). Hill leads the wide receiving core with 516 yards and 4 touchdowns on 37 receptions. The fourth-year pro also ranks first on the team in targets (51) and has seen 7 red zone looks on the season.

Washington's defense has taken a turn for the worse after a dominating 2020 season. It has posted the fourth-worst pass defense DVOA rating and is giving up 293.4 passing yards per game (No. 28 in NFL). It's tough to imagine they will be able to shut down Hill, who is averaging 13.9 yards per catch.

Kansas City will look to get back in the win column and head into Sunday's matchup as 6.5-point road favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Look for Hill to make a major impact in this one.
