49ers Receive Mediocre Grade for 2022 Offseason Moves

The San Francisco 49ers entered the 2022 offseason fresh off of an appearance in the NFC Championship Game. It's clear they have the pieces to contend for a Super Bowl, so the team mostly added on the margins in free agency and the draft, rather than make any splashy moves.
The 49ers' relatively quiet offseason has landed them a mediocre grade from ProFootballFocus.

49ers Offseason Moves 2022
PFF gave San Francisco a C+ offseason grade, which is far from complimentary when the lowest grade was a C-. The 49ers were praised for signing top cornerback Charvarius Ward, but they still ended up with an "average" free agency grade overall.
Things got a little bit better in regards to the draft. Despite not having a first-round pick, Lynch and company received a "B" for their 2022 class. Nabbing USC linebacker at No. 61 overall was deemed "great work" by San Francisco.
Though it's not been a flashy last couple of months, the 49ers clearly have a winning formula with this roster, so there was no need for major shakeups. San Francisco's offseason could look better, too, if Jimmy Garoppolo eventually fetches a decent trade haul and Deebo Samuel signs an extension.
The 49ers are currently +1600 (T-No. 6) in FanDuel Sportsbook's Super Bowl odds.
