3 Best Cooper Kupp Prop Bets for 49ers vs Rams NFC Championship Game

The Los Angeles Rams are on the cusp of making their second Super Bowl appearance in the last four seasons. However, they will need to take care of business against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday first. Wide receiver Cooper Kupp is sure to play one of the biggest roles in this NFC Championship matchup.

1. Receiving Yards - Over 103.5 (-114)

There's simply no reason to believe that the 49ers' defense will suddenly find a way to slow down Kupp on Sunday. The Eastern Washington product torched San Francisco in both regular season meetings, racking up 122 yards in Week 10 and 118 yards in Week 18. Kupp has also coming off a game in which he logged a whopping 183 receiving yards. His crisp route-running skills makes him a mismatch on every snap and quarterback Matthew Stafford knows it. After all, that is why Kupp sees a team-high 11.2 targets per game this season. It may take him a few quarters, but the 28-year-old should have no trouble surpassing 103 yards.

2. Longest Reception - Over 28.5 (-108)

Don't get it twisted, this is a large number to hit for any wide receiver in the NFL. However, Kupp has done so in 15 of his 19 games this season. That includes both games against the 49ers. Kupp was able to beat San Francisco's defense for a 29-yard grab in Week 10 and a 46-yard catch in Week 18. It's worth noting that head coach Kyle Shanahan's defense tied for the eighth-most 40-yard passing plays allowed in the NFL this season (11). Kupp has developed into a downfield threat and regularly runs routes that take 20-30 yards down the field. All he needs is one big play.

3. Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-145)

Bettors that aren't afraid to take on a little juice should back Kupp to reach the end zone in the NFC Championship. The fifth-year pro led the NFL with 16 receiving touchdowns during the regular season and has tacked on two more in the playoffs so far. Overall, Kupp has scored a touchdown in seven of his last eight games. Not only is he a deep threat, but Kupp has turned into Stafford's go-to red zone option as well. The dynamic pass-catcher has seen two red zone targets in each of his last three games. Backing Kupp to score is about as easy as it gets during championship weekend.
