The expectations for the 2021 Buffalo Bills are sky high. With Josh Allen locked up for the foreseeable future, this team looks to build upon a disappointing AFC Championship loss last year.

One member of Bills offense that will help dictate the success of this team is running back Zack Moss. Moss has the potential to take over the No. 1 RB spot from teammate Devin Singletary. Even if he doesn't, Moss will get more than enough reps in an offense that finished second in the league with 31.3 points per game last season.

On Wednesday, the Bills did get some concerning injury news on their young running back. Moss was held out of practice with a hamstring injury and is officially ruled as day-to-day.

Zack Moss Injury Update

Now, the day-to-day status allows Bills fans to breathe a bit of a a sigh of relief. But, it's hard to ignore hamstring issues when thinking about running backs. Soft-tissue injuries like this have a nasty habit of lingering and limiting players for much longer than initially projected.

Buffalo is hopeful that this concerning injury requires just a few days off, but they also understand the importance of Moss in this offense. Last year, in his rookie campaign, Moss finished with 481 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns on 112 attempts. His 112 rushes ranked just behind Singletary, who recorded 156 in 16 starts. Despite the higher volume, Singletary only finished with 2 touchdowns, just to show how valuable Moss is.

This injury is worth keeping an eye on for Bills fans. Currently, Buffalo owns +1200 odds to win Super Bowl 56, which ranks tied for the third-best mark on FanDuel Sportsbook.
