Zack Moss Fantasy Outlook Includes Handcuff Value for Devin Singletary

The Buffalo Bills raised some eyebrows when they used a third-round selection on Utah's Zack Moss in the 2020 NFL Draft. They had just spent a third-round pick on fellow RB Devin Singletary the year prior, and Singletary performed quite well as a rookie.

While the selection was a bit curious, this is almost certainly still Singletary's backfield, which relegates Moss to handcuff status for fantasy football purposes in 2020.

Zack Moss Fantasy Outlook

Moss is currently coming off the board with an average draft position (ADP) of RB41. That puts him right above some players likely facing similar situations, like Darrell Henderson (RB42) and Ke'Shawn Vaughn (RB43).

While the 5-foot-9, 223-pound Moss could offer some value as a goal-line back, most of his upside will be tied to Singletary's health. If Singletary misses time, Moss would be the favorite to command early-down work, while T.J. Yeldon would likely spell him as a pass-catcher.

Unless something significant changes, Moss won't be usable in most leagues while Singletary is healthy. But the handcuff value does make him worth rostering.
