The Kansas City Royals reunited with longtime pitcher Zack Greinke this offseason, bringing him back to the team that drafted him No. 6 overall in 2002. Fans are eagerly awaiting their chance to see Greinke in a Royals uniform once again as Opening Day approaches.

Royals Opening Day Starter
Greinke was asked his thoughts on getting the nod for Opening Day, and responded with a straight face, "Probably the same as my reaction right now." Outsiders may question the response, but Royals fans know Greinke isn't one for over-the-top sentiments.
Deep down, Greinke must be raring to go in his return to Kansas City. He spent his first seven seasons in the majors with the Royals before being traded to the Milwaukee Brewers. Greinke then went on to suit up for the Los Angeles Angeles, Los Angeles Dodgers, Arizona Diamondbacks and Houston Astros.
Making things even sweeter, Greinke's first start for the Royals in over a decade will be at Kauffman Stadium in front of the home crowd.
