Updated (Tuesday, 3/8/2021), 3:05 p.m. EST): Aaron Rodgers took to Twitter to refute the details of his contract. While he's still officially planning on returning to Green Bay, Rodgers denied having signed a contract with the Packers and claimed that the reported terms of the deal are inaccurate. This article will be updated when the Rodgers contract becomes official.

The Aaron Rodgers saga is finally over. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Tuesday that the Green Bay Packers are signing the four-time NFL MVP to a four-year, $200 million contract, with $153 million being guaranteed.

Aaron Rodgers Contract

The new contract makes Rodgers the highest-paid player in NFL history at the age of 37. It'd be hard to find a player more deserving after the veteran gunslinger racked up 4,115 passing yards and 37 touchdowns to seven interceptions in 16 starts with the Packers in 2021.

With Rodgers now being the highest-paid NFL player, fans might be wondering if anyone else's contract is even close to his. Here's a look at the top-20 most-expensive NFL contracts today, sorted by annual average value (AAV).
