The Chicago White Sox 2022 season hasn't exactly started off on the right foot, at least when it comes to injuries. Eight players have already landed on the injured list in April, including stud starting pitcher Lucas Giolito.
Fortunately, Giolito is already progressing in his rehab and the team revealed a potential return date for the 2019 All-Star.

Giolito is throwing a simulated game on Tuesday afternoon. Tony La Russa indicated the team will monitor his status following this outing, but there's a chance he returns by the end of the week if all goes well.
This potentially lines Giolito up to make a start on Sunday, April 24 against the Minnesota Twins. His arm is vital to the starting rotation as the seven-year veteran has put up sub-3.53 ERAs in each of his three seasons since that All-Star appearance in 2019.
Chicago has managed through these slew of injuries to an early 6-3 record. Currently, FanDuel Sportsbook's World Series Odds show them at +1200 (T-4th) to take home the title.
