White Sox Get Bad News With Nick Madrigal Injury Update

The 2021 MLB campaign has been kind to the Chicago White Sox, who are sitting in first place in the AL Central with a 37-24 record. But the team has dealt with some bad injury luck already, as star outfielders Eloy Jimenez and Luis Robert have missed significant time.
And Chicago got another scare on Thursday night, as second baseman Nick Madrigal was forced to leave Wednesday's game due to hamstring soreness.

Not much is known as to the severity of Madrigal's injury just yet, but he's not someone the White Sox can afford to lose. The 24-year-old is slashing .304/.349/.425 with 2 home runs, 21 RBI and 4 triples.
With Jimenez and Robert likely sidelined for at least the next couple months or so, Madrigal is simply too important to lose right now. Hopefully he can get back on the diamond soon and help Chicago secure the AL West crown.
The White Sox are currently favored to win the AL pennant in 2021, with +300 odds from FanDuel Sportsbook.
