Week 9 Fantasy Picks: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em for Texans vs Jaguars

Week 9 of the NFL season features an AFC South divisional battle as the Houston Texans (1-6) go on the road to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-6). The Texans are looking to secure their first road win of the season as they take on Jaguars' quarterback Jake Luton in his first career NFL start.
If you need help with your fantasy football lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for the Week 9 Texans-Jaguars showdown.
Who Should I Start Fantasy Football
Start Will Fuller, WR, Houston Texans: Will Fuller has been a consistent wide receiver in fantasy football surpassing 100 receiving yards or scoring a touchdown in six of his seven games this season. He is averaging 8.0 targets over the last four games and has reached the end zone in five straight games now. Fuller should have no problem racking up receiving yards on Sunday and it wouldn't be shocking to see his touchdown streak continue. He should be started across fantasy football leagues this week.
Start DJ Chark Jr., WR, Jacksonville Jaguars: Wide receiver DJ Chark was getting hot before the Jaguars' bye week as he saw 21 targets in the last two games compared to just 20 in his first four games. Although the Jaguars are making a quarterback change, this shouldn't hurt Chark too much as the rookie Jake Luton may look to his best and safest option in the passing game more often than not. Houston gives up 251.7 passing yards per game (T-No. 21 in the NFL) and even if the Jaguars focus on the running attack this game, Chark should still see enough targets to be worthy of starting in your FLEX or WR3 spot this week. It may be risky, but the upside is there.
Sit Randall Cobb, WR, Houston Texans: While the Texans' wide receivers have been balling out for the past couple of games, it is hard to see the No. 3 option in Randall Cobb maintaining that pace. Cobb is coming off his best performance of the season as he hauled in 8 of 10 targets for 95 yards against the Green Bay Packers. However, he benefitted from the fact that the Texans were playing from behind for almost the entirety of this game, which is not expected to be the case this Sunday. He isn't worth a start unless you are really struggling with bye weeks or wide receiver injuries.
Sit Anyone on the Jaguars Besides Chark and James Robinson: It may be tough sledding this week for anyone on the Jaguars' offense not named DJ Chark or James Robinson. With a rookie quarterback starting, no one quite knows what to expect. Wide receiver Laviska Shenault has seen 18 targets over the past three games, but he hasn't scored a touchdown since the season opener. Keelan Cole may seem like an intriguing option this week, but as a boom-or-bust player, it is hard to see him putting up substantial numbers with a rookie running the passing attack. It is best to stay away from the rest of this offense until it becomes clear how Luton and the Jaguars' coaching staff will run the offense moving forward.
